Simply Thirsty

Private Bartending Service

Services & Expectations

Hourly rate:

$25 - $30 depending on location +15% gratuity

2 hour minimum service

Depending on what type of event it is I like to arrive thirty minutes to an hour early. This way I have enough time to prep and talk over any last details with the host. I will call while in route to the event.

Uniform:

Black button down shirt, black work pants, black shoes unless otherwise requested (As long as you don’t request humiliating or revealing outfits…I’m a bartender not a side show haha)

FAQS:

“Should I create a drink list for my guests to order from?”

If you have a set budget for your bar then I would say yes. Creating a menu will give you a better idea of which alcohols you will need to buy as well as the quantity. I will be more than happy to help you create a menu to place at the bar.

“Can you create a signature drink to go with my theme?”

Yes, I love creating signature drinks! Whether you already have something in mind or want me to come up with a concoction on my own we will make it happen.

“How much ice should I buy for my event?”

It depends on how many guests you have and what types of drinks you are planning to serve. A good rule of thumb is to have at least a pound of ice per guest. It doesn’t hurt to over buy on ice, who wants a warm drink?

“Do I [the host] supply the garnishes?”

Yes, once we know which drinks you want to be served we can figure out how many limes, cherries, lemons etc that you will need for your event. I will prepare the garnishes before the event begins.

“Can you help me with other things besides bartending?”

If the bar becomes slow I will keep busy by keeping the bar area clean and can also help with general clean up, like picking up trash and removing plates/glasses if requested. I want the host to be as relaxed as possible during their event, I know how stressful it can be.

“What types of payment do you accept?”

I prefer cash, but personal checks are welcome as well.

“Do you use a tip jar?”

Yes and no. A 15% gratuity is added onto the hourly rate, but if the host says that having a tip jar is fine then I will have one.
